Michael Cusacks hurling team failed to retain the trophy they won at last year's annual Central Coast Tournament. In their first game they had an unfortunate loss to Sydney Shamrocks by 4-4 to 0-9. They were unlucky in this game and let in some soft goals. Next they came up against the Central Coast hurlers and again luck was not with them as they suffered their second defeat of the day and did not contest the final.
