4 Finals, 2 Cups, 1 Great Day
Cusacks were out in force at the Central Coast GAA Blitz in San Remo on the outskirts of Gosford on Sunday. The Club had a team in each of the 4 code finals, with the Cusacks Ladies Footballers and Hurlers taking home the silverware.
For the third year running Cusacks Men’s Footballers came up against Wolfe Tones from Melbourne in their Final, the match went to extra time and on to Golden Point – with the Tones getting in first to seal the deal. Coast Camogs continued their winning streak edging out the Cusacks girls in their final.
Nevertheless with 2 pieces of silverware, we’ve plenty to celebrate!

All Sydney GAA Championship
The inaugural All Syndey GAA Blitz took place on Sunday Feb 16th at the NSWGAA grounds in Ingleburn and despite the Irish-like weather the event was a great success.
Over 600 players from Sydney’s GAA Clubs came together with 22 teams across Men’s and Ladies football, Hurling and Camogie fighting it out for the first silverware of the 2014 NSWGAA season.
In total 30 games were played across two pitches, ensuring each team got at least 2 games over the course of the day.
The Hurling and Ladies Football finals went right down to the wire with hosts Michael Cusacks GAC narrowly losing out to Central Coast (Hurling) and McAnallens (Ladies Football) by 1 point.
McAnallens also overcame Cusacks in the Men’s Football final, while in the Camogie Central Coast also proved too strong for the McAnallen’s girls.

Darren Kehoe, Coast GAA (Hurling)
