Since its formation, the GAA has been about more than just providing a sporting and cultural outlet for our members. It has become part of the fabric of Irish life and we pride ourselves on the work carried out by our club in maintaining a community environment. As an overseas club we have different challenges, but aim to provide the same inclusion and foundations to support all members of our club.
Our club is run by the players for the players; a young generation of Irish who left home to find work, and also found a new home.
We understand how daunting a move abroad is and so do everything we can to provide an extensive support network to our members, new and old. While GAA is our passion, our main focus is ensuring the welfare of our members, while enhancing their experiences and making Michael Cusacks a home away from home.
We constantly strive to forge new links with companies, which may benefit our players. Arrive Australia, immigration specialists have proudly sponsored Michael Cusacks for over 5 years and last year we partnered with visa/tax experts Announcer Group.
Below are just some useful links which can assist in obtaining visas, accommodation and employment. As always, speak with your player rep for more information.
